When I roll in on a wedding day, it’ll be like greeting an old friend who you trust to make you look fabulous. I’m your ultimate hype girl. I’m going to fluff your dress, keep an eye out for lipstick on your teeth and help you avoid any people you don’t want to hang out with on your wedding day.

I make even the most camera shy couples look and feel radiant in front of my lens. Disclaimer: None of my couples are models. Yep. AAAND, many of them tell me they are camera shy. Crazy right?! You wouldn’t know it by looking at how effortlessly fabulous they look! I promise to literally & figuratively hold your hand through the whole process. I will pose you, give you verbal prompts on how to create emotional moments and ensure the light illuminating you from just the right angle. 

Now, you might wonder what makes me so good at this. Well, my background in theater and my quirky tendencies definitely play a role. Years of dance have given me an understanding of poses that not only make you look toned and graceful but also celebrate your unique femininity.

And for the gentlemen out there – I know you want to resemble something straight out of a GQ magazine, and you probably prefer to wrap up the photos quickly so you can get to that bar sooner. I've got you covered!

Efficient time management & scheduling

Your wedding day will be dictated by a schedule to ensure things run smoothly. But no need to wear a watch, I got this. You’ll be able to soak in all the wedding day feels with your hubby without worrying about how much more time we have left for portraits or whether we need to be starting sunset photos soon because we’re losing light. Seriously, I’ve got you girl. All you need to do is JUST BE. I’ll ensure we capture every moment. Speaking of schedules, during your initial consult, I’ll build a custom wedding photography timeline based on my 10+ years of experience and the overall vision for your wedding day. Other parts of your wedding day will run behind schedule, not to worry, I always pad the photography timeline so you have a stress free experience.

I know how chaotic organizing family photos can be. I don’t want that for any of my couples so I have a method for organizing and executing every family photo combination on your list as quick as possible. Plus, I’ll help you craft the perfect list of photo combinations that includes the tricky dynamic of divorces and your siblings partners.

I am also happy to be your bouncer when Aunt Debbie gets in your face 10 minutes before you walk down the aisle! I don't mind handling a sticky situation for you. I don't have to spend Thanksgiving with them! ;)

Alright, listen up, future models (I mean, brides & grooms)! So, I've had this recurring theme from my clients: "We’re not photogenic!" and "Who knew photoshoots could be this fun? Even my fiancé was into it. Bring on the wedding day!" Now, if the thought of posing makes you break into a nervous sweat, fret not! Feeling like a deer in headlights is practically a rite of passage. But guess what? I'm here to be your camera whisperer. I'll guide you using my bespoke posing method, and voilà—elegant, joyful & timeless photographs that are rich with emotion!

So, leave the nerves at the door, bring your best awkward dance moves (totally optional, but encouraged), and let's make capturing memories as smooth as butter. Wedding day, here we come! 📸✨

I recently had a bride who had a wee meltdown shortly after the first look. She was overwhelmed by minutia of planning a wedding, her feet hurt and she was ready to be DONE with photos. Her soon to be hubby knew how much she valued photography and tried to talk her around without much luck. So I stepped in and encouraged her to take off her fancy heels and suggested we go find some shade. She wasn’t a deal on going barefoot in Seattle (germs, ew, gross!), so she donned the only shoes available, her husbands high top hiking sneakers. Not really the vibe for her preppy coastal wedding. I assured her I’d crop out the shoes. To help her shift her mindset, I provided verbal prompts, guiding her thoughts back to the essence of the day—their relationship. Placing them in one of my favorite poses, I encouraged her to take a deep breath and relish the fact that she had found her person. I emphasized that if, at the end of the day, they were married, it was a success, and everything else was a bonus.

The anxiety and overwhelm melted away with the sea breeze and they were able to reset & enjoy themselves. If you would like to see their photos, ask about them during our zoom call. I'm happy to share!
