V-Day Cocktail Recipe from Snohomish Rental Co: The Blackberry Fizz

V-day pink cocktail

From The Girls at Snohomish Rental Co:

We love signature drinks - they elevate any bridal shower, wedding reception, or Sunday brunch.

For this sweet Valentine’s Day shoot with Becca of B. Jones, we wanted to serve a signature drink that coordinated with our romantic blush, silver, white, and grey color palate.

Our drink, the Blackberry Fizz, is elegant, simple to make, and absolutely delicious!

Blackberry Fizz
Serves 6

Ingredients
Blackberry Simple Syrup
1 bottle champagne (or sparkling cider for a non-alcoholic version)
Fresh thyme sprigs and blackberries for garnish

Blackberry Simple Syrup
Ingredients
1 pint blackberries
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water

Directions
Combine 1/2 cup white sugar, 1/2 cup water, and 1 pint blackberries in a small sauce pan. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minute or until the color seeps from the blackberries. Strain blackberries. Chill overnight.

Blackberry Fizz Directions
Pour 1 tablespoon blackberry simple syrup into each Snohomish Rental Co. ezra glass goble (link). Top with chilled champagne, and garnish with a fresh thyme sprig and blackberry. Serve on a Snohomish Rental Co.’s vintage silver tray (link).

We used our favorite champagne, William Wycliff Vineyards Brut Champagne. It’s light, fruity taste pairs perfectly with blackberries. Bonus: at under $7 a bottle, you won’t feel guilty about imbibing in a second - or third! - drink.

Cheers to that!
