An Insider's Guide to Willows Lodge Weddings

The setting is genuinely unmatched in Woodinville. The property sits along the Sammamish River with lush gardens, the iconic magnolia tree, and the warmth of the Pacific Lodge-style architecture creating a backdrop that feels both luxurious and deeply PNW. It's the kind of venue that looks effortlessly beautiful in photographs across every season.
The light is exceptional. The east-facing gardens catch gorgeous morning light, and the late afternoon golden hour wrapping around the lodge exterior is something I look forward to at every single Willows Lodge wedding. If you're planning a late afternoon ceremony, you are in for something special.
The magnolia tree is iconic. If you get married here, you must do portraits under the magnolia. It is one of the most naturally beautiful portrait locations of any venue I've ever worked at in the Pacific Northwest.
Getting ready on-site is a gift. Willows Lodge offers beautiful on-site accommodations, which means your getting-ready photos happen in a gorgeous, cohesive environment rather than a random hotel room. This matters more than most couples realize until they see the photos.
