Chateau Lill Wedding

Jesse & Sarah

Southern Couture Wedding

Chateau Lill | Woodinville, WA

Sarah and Jesse started their wedding day at The Woodmark hotel in Kirkland. Only a short drive from their woodinville wedding venue, Chateau Lill. Sarah got professional hair & makeup done in suite overlooking lake washington and carillon point. On the day of their wedding, there was a pirate ship on the dock, The Lady Washington. The ship was featured in the movie the pirates of caribbean movie! sarah and I were so excited, so we flashed our most winning smiles and asked if we could come aboard for a few photos. We did a few bridal photos not he deck overlooking lake washington and then it was time to make our way over to Chateau lill for the first look!

Meanwhile, over at their Woodinville wine country wedding venue, Jesse and his groomsmen were doning charcoal suits for a few photos in front of the barrels. My second photographer, Kimber, photographed the groomsmen photos before we arrived. When we rolled in, Kimber and I put our walkies and got to work setting up the first look amongst the grape vines of the vineyard. With the pond in the background, Jesse waited to lay eyes on his beautiful bride. Since the weather was mildly overcast, we were able to utilize all the stunning photo locations at Chateau lill. Amonst the grapevines from every angle, In front of the grand chateau, along the fence line of the alpaca field. The couple tied the knot on the hillside among towering evergreens. In a grand gesture, the groom literally swept the bride off her feet for their first kiss. But the disney inspired magic didn’t stop there, the couple made their grand exit down the aisle while guests showered them with pink rose petal confetti. “Kiss. cheer. Toss.” The couple partied with their guests under a majestic white tent. Their tables were decorated with cut crystal goblets and classic white, blush & green flowers. Their pink flower cake was dramatically displayed on the window ledge inside the ballroom at chateau lill. The couple had their first dance in front of a roaring fire with the glow of chandeliers above.

Old, New, Borrowed, Blue:

One of my bridesmaids was married 5 years ago, and told us that the full saying is "Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, and a sixpence in your shoe" - she gave me a sixpence as a gift for being in her wedding, so I will have that in my shoe which will double as my something old.  I haven't figured out my new, borrowed or blue items yet, but I'll let you know once I do!
